abstract [PROBLEMS] To obtain a water-resistant flame retardant powder by using a discarded powder fire extinguishing agent, to reuse the flame retardant powder as a powder fire extinguishing agent, and to use the flame retardant powder for various flame retardants. Of a method for reusing discarded powder fire extinguishing agents to obtain a composition and a flame retardant paint SOLUTION: A waste toner coating (white portion) is formed around primary ammonium phosphate (large gray portion), and calcium carbonate (small black portion) is dispersed in the waste toner coating. A flame retardant powder in which the amount of waste toner mixed with calcium carbonate mixed powder is 5 to 30%. It is desirable that the pulverized powder of the powder extinguishing agent has a particle size of 10 μm or less. A flame retardant composition obtained by mixing the powder at a ratio of 5 to 50% by weight with respect to a resin or a mixture of resin and wood. [Selection] Figure 1
