abstract The present invention provides an aromatic polycarbonate oligomer solid body having a large loose bulk density and easy to handle, in which low molecular weight components are remarkably reduced and a chlorine-containing compound is absent or significantly reduced. A repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1) has a weight average molecular weight of 500 to 10,000, a low molecular weight component of 5.0 area% or less, and a loose bulk density as measured by high performance liquid chromatography.
