abstract |
To provide a SOFC / SOEC / reversible SOC stack with little energy loss and a system using the same even when system start / stop and switching of operation modes are repeated. SOFC stack 40a includes SOFC cell 42a that generates power using fuel, and a redox channel filled with a redox material that can be oxidized and reduced. The SOFC cell 42a and the redox channel 44 are thermally connected. The SOFC system 10a includes such a SOFC stack 40a, and a reducing unit and an oxidizing unit that supply reducing gas / oxidizing gas to the redox passage 44 to reduce / oxidize the redox material.
