abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a heat storage capsule which suppresses external load during handling or the like and damage due to expansion / contraction caused by phase change of inorganic salt latent heat storage material (PCM) and prevents deliquescence of PCM. A heat storage capsule (10) comprises a perforated hollow material (Shirasu balloon) formed of Shirasu, and a PCM which is contained in a Shirasu balloon and capable of absorbing and releasing heat due to a phase change between a solid and a liquid. After being subjected to an undercoating treatment to be coated with a powder that forms a water-insoluble film, such as anhydrous sodium sulfate, which is coated around a PCM-supported Shirasu balloon, at least one layer of resin such as epoxy and silicone is formed; The PCM is encapsulated to provide a latent heat storage capsule which prevents deliquescent and a wall material compounded with the same.
