PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and promising treatment strategy for castration resistant prostate cancer. A castration resistant prostate cancer therapeutic agent is provided, which comprises an RNA targeting the androgen receptor variant AR-V7 or a compound that induces the expression thereof. Also provided is a method of predicting the risk of developing or exacerbating castration resistant prostate cancer, using a specific microRNA as an index.
