titleOfInvention | Alignment film manufacturing method and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment film manufacturing method capable of suppressing the occurrence of flicker due to low-frequency driving of a liquid crystal display device even when oxidation treatment and solvent treatment are performed. According to this embodiment, a step of forming an organic film on a substrate, a step of irradiating the organic film with polarized ultraviolet rays for imparting alignment controllability of liquid crystal molecules, and an organic layer irradiated with polarized ultraviolet rays. There is provided an alignment film manufacturing method including an oxidation process for oxidizing a film, a cleaning process for cleaning the oxidized organic film, and a reduction process for reducing the cleaned organic film.
