abstract |
A vehicle capable of coping with noise caused by a rotating electrical machine and a control method thereof are provided. A control circuit 54 of a vehicle 10 sets a resonance region Rr defined by a first frequency smaller than a resonance frequency of a rotating electrical machine 24 and a second frequency larger than the resonance frequency. The control circuit 54 determines whether or not the rotation speed Ntrc of the rotating electrical machine 24 is within the resonance region Rr when a predetermined condition is satisfied, and when the rotation speed Ntrc is within the resonance region Rr, the switching device 30 is disconnected.
