abstract | The present invention provides a curable composition and an adhesive that are excellent in curability and adhesiveness and chemical resistance of a cured product. The curable composition of the present invention comprises 10 to 70% by mass of a cationic polymerizable component (A), 1 to 10% by mass of a cationic polymerization initiator (B), and 1 to 80% by mass of a radical polymerizable component (C). % And radical polymerization initiator (D) 1 to 10% by mass, wherein the cationic polymerizable component (A) is an aromatic epoxy compound (A1) and a polyfunctional glycidyl having a molecular weight of 250 or more not containing an aromatic ring. The compound (A2) is contained, the radical polymerizable component (C) is a monofunctional (meth) acrylic compound (C1) having a hydroxyl group, a polyfunctional (meth) acrylic compound (C2) having a molecular weight of 250 or more, and in the molecule A monofunctional (meth) acrylic compound (C3) having no aromatic ring and no hydroxyl group is contained.
