abstract A method for producing a composite having excellent electrolyte conductivity and a method for producing a battery using the composite are provided. A method for producing a composite according to the present invention includes a solution adjustment step (step S1) for preparing a first solution containing a raw material for a first electrolyte and a first solvent, and a first solution by heating the first solution. A first electrolyte precursor forming step (step S2) for removing the solvent and forming the first electrolyte precursor; and a mixing step (step S3) for mixing the active material and the first electrolyte precursor to form a mixture. A molding step (step S4) for forming the molded body by pressure-molding the mixture, a firing step (step S5) for firing the molded body to form a fired body, and the first electrolyte and the second solvent. An impregnation step (step S6) in which the second solution containing is impregnated by bringing it into contact with the fired body, the fired body impregnated with the second solution is heated to remove the second solvent, and includes the active material and the first electrolyte.
