abstract The present invention relates to an autonomous ingredient comprising a mallow family Fuyu spp. And an extract thereof as an active ingredient, which can be used to alleviate and prevent early symptoms of physical disability such as tension and blood circulation disorders caused by autonomic dysregulation due to stress. It is an object to provide a nerve regulator. As a result of intensive studies on the regulation of the balance of autonomic nerves disturbed by stress, the present inventors have found that an autonomic nerve regulating action is remarkably excellent in plants belonging to the genus Hibiscus. The invention has been completed. That is, the present invention is an autonomic nervous regulator comprising as an active ingredient a plant belonging to the genus Hibiscus or an extract thereof.
