titleOfInvention Voltage compensator
abstract A voltage compensator is provided that can protect against an excessive current when an excessive accident current flows in a power system. A voltage compensator according to an embodiment is connected to an input terminal, an output terminal, a power converter including a current path from the input terminal to a DC terminal, and the one input terminal. A first transformer having a secondary winding, a second transformer having a secondary winding connected to the other input terminal, a capacitor connected between the output terminals, and the first transformer. An inductor connected in series between the secondary winding of the transformer and the first AC input terminal, and a node to which the secondary winding and inductor of the first transformer are connected to the first DC output terminal A first rectifying element that flows current toward the node, and a second rectifying element that flows current toward the node from the second DC terminal.
