An imaging element and an imaging apparatus capable of improving charge transfer efficiency are provided. An imaging device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure collects a photoelectric conversion layer, a first electrode that collects a negative signal charge generated in the photoelectric conversion layer, and a positive signal charge generated in the photoelectric conversion layer.
