abstract Disclosed is a porous material for solid phase extraction having excellent wet characteristics, selective capture of an analyte of interest, and no retention of interfering analytes. A porous copolymer of a hydrophobic monomer and a hydrophilic monomer, wherein the hydrophobic monomer is divinylbenzene or styrene, and the hydrophilic monomer is N-vinylcaprolactam. This porous copolymer has a larger proportion of larger pores, and the diameter of the pores of 10% or more of the surface area by BJH method, which is an improvement of BET method, is larger than 200 mm.
