Provided is a polyimide precursor solution from which a porous polyimide film in which the generation of pinholes is suppressed can be obtained. A resin particle and a polyimide precursor are contained, and the volume particle size distribution of the resin particle in the polyimide precursor solution has at least one maximum value, and the volume frequency is the largest among the maximum values. The polyimide precursor solution in which the proportion of the volume frequency of the maximum value is 90% or more and 100% or less with respect to the volume frequency of all the maximum values of the volume particle size distribution.
