titleOfInvention Magnetic foam and method for producing the same
abstract A magnetic foam capable of achieving both strong magnetism and high foamability is provided. A foamed resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and magnetic particles having a true specific gravity of 6 g / cm 3 or less is foam-molded to prepare a magnetic foam having a foaming ratio of 3 times or more. The average particle size of the magnetic particles is about 0.1 to 300 μm. The magnetic particles may be ferrite particles. The thermoplastic resin may be at least one selected from the group consisting of an olefin resin, a styrene resin, and a thermoplastic elastomer. The weight ratio of the thermoplastic resin to the magnetic particles is about thermoplastic resin / magnetic particles = 97/3 to 20/80. The magnetic foam may have an open cell ratio of 0.1 to 90% by volume. In the magnetic foam, an area of 80% or more of the entire surface may be covered with a skin layer. The magnetic foam may have a true density of about 1 to 3 g / cm 3 . [Selection figure] None
