abstract | For example, an oil-containing sludge generated in a steel plant can be effectively reused from an oil-containing sludge by a simple method without cost as much as possible. SOLUTION: Water is added to an oil-containing sludge containing coarse and fine particles and 3 to 15% by mass of oil to form a slurry. The slurry-like oil-containing sludge is supplied to a hydrocyclone, so that 15 μm or more and 20 μm or less is obtained. A classification step of separating into a coarse fraction and a fine fraction as a classification point; a dehydration step of dehydrating a fine fraction having a particle size less than the classification point, wherein the oil component is concentrated by classification in the classification step; An incineration step of removing the oil by incinerating the dewatered sludge dehydrated in the dewatering step.
