Diisopentyl terephthalate |
abstract |
An economically interesting plasticizer not included in the definition of a compound regulated by German or international guidelines. A mixture of isomeric dipentyl terephthalates in which less than 60 mol% of the pentyl groups are n-pentyl groups is superior in terms of low viscosity that does not increase significantly even at temperatures above 40 ° C. In addition, plastisols containing these mixtures have a low plastisol viscosity which increases only to a low extent over time. [Selection figure] None |
