abstract | The present invention provides for the first time an agent that can be taken safely on a daily basis for effectively preventing and preventing dioxin toxicity, particularly teratogenicity. The present invention also provides for the first time a novel composition, functional food, and novel use containing the above-mentioned dioxin teratogenicity preventive and inhibitor as well as other toxic prophylaxis and inhibitor of dioxins as active ingredients. A teratogenic form of dioxins comprising at least one of secoisolariciresinol (SECO) and its plant lignan precursor secoisolariciresinol diglucoside (SDG) as an active ingredient.
