abstract |
Only a specific electromagnetic wave wavelength can be selectively extracted. A metal thin film filter that transmits an electromagnetic wave having a desired wavelength is provided. The metal thin film filter is a conductor metal structure having a concavo-convex structure at a predetermined periodic interval, and the concavo-convex structure has an elliptical shape. . A polarizer that transmits light oscillating in a specific direction is further provided, and the light transmitted through the polarizer is supplied to the metal thin film filter. The vibration direction of the light transmitted through the polarizer and the direction of the major axis of the elliptical shape are substantially the same direction.
