abstract |
The present invention provides a polarizing film and a method for producing a polarizing laminated film that have high optical properties and have reduced shrinkage force. A polarizing film is one in which iodine is oriented in a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer. The polarizing film has a boron content of 2.5 wt% or more and 4.1 wt% or less, a visibility corrected single transmittance (Ty) of more than 40.5%, and a parallel absorbance / orthogonal absorbance at a wavelength of 475 nm.
