abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method capable of efficiently separating scandium from an acidic solution containing scandium and at least aluminum as an impurity, and recovering scandium with high purity. An ion exchange treatment method according to the present invention includes a first ion exchange step S21 in which an acidic solution containing scandium and at least aluminum as an impurity is brought into contact with a chelate resin, and a first ion exchange step S21. A first elution step S22 in which the chelate resin contacted with the acidic solution is brought into contact with the first elution start solution to obtain an eluate, and the second ion for bringing the obtained eluate into contact with the chelate resin.
