Angiotensin is provided in the treatment of brain conditions. The present invention provides, among other things, methods and compositions for treating brain conditions. In some embodiments, the method comprises administering an angiotensin (1-7) peptide to a subject suffering from or susceptible to a brain condition by either the intravenous or subcutaneous route of administration. including.
