abstract | A single color multiplex quantitative PCR is provided. A method and composition for determining a copy number of a first target nucleic acid relative to a copy number of a second target nucleic acid using a single detection label in a single well is provided. It is disclosed in the specification. For example, the multiplex quantitative PCR (MMQPCR) method uses a single detection label in a single well to determine the copy number of the first target nucleic acid relative to the copy number of the second target nucleic acid. Methods and compositions for this are disclosed herein. Also disclosed is a method of determining telomere sequence copy number.
