abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester-based resin composition and a method for producing the same, which can obtain a molded product having excellent transparency and gas barrier properties and further suppressed yellowing even in a molded product accompanied by a stretching treatment. SOLUTION: A polyester resin (A) having a cyclic acetal structure or an alicyclic hydrocarbon structure, and 70 mol% or more of dicarboxylic acid units are derived from aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and 70 mol% or more of diol units are fat. A step (1) of kneading a polyester resin (R) derived from a group diol to obtain a first resin composition in which the resin component is a polyester resin (A) and a polyester resin (R), and the first resin. The step (2) of kneading the composition and at least the polyamide resin (B) to obtain a polyester-based resin composition is carried out in this order, and the glass transition temperature of the polyester resin (A) is 105 ° C. or lower.
