abstract | [Problem] To provide a carrier with high detection sensitivity while keeping a spot diameter small when spotting a solution containing a bio-related molecule. A carrier for immobilizing a bio-related molecule having a resin substrate, an amino group-containing compound layer formed on the resin substrate, and a polyvalent carboxylic acid layer formed on the amino group-containing compound layer. The carboxyl group of the polyvalent carboxylic acid layer is active esterified, and (COO peak intensity) / (C− of the C1s spectrum when the support surface before the active esterification is measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
