abstract There is provided a sealing device capable of stabilizing sliding resistance by suppressing an increase in sliding resistance even when lead eyes are formed at a contact portion of a lip. A sealing device includes an annular reinforcing ring around an axis x and an annular elastic body portion around the axis x formed from an elastic body attached to the reinforcing ring. . The elastic body portion 20 includes a side lip 21, an intermediate lip 22, and a grease lip 23. In the use state of the sealing device 1, the cross-sectional area A of the inter-lip space S surrounded by the side lip 21, the intermediate lip 22 and the hub wheel 55 is 3.5 mm 2 or more.
