titleOfInvention Separation of homogeneous catalysts using a controlled membrane separation unit
abstract The problem underlying the present invention is to simplify the addition of a new catalyst into the reaction zone when the volumetric flow rate of the reaction mixture discharged from the reaction zone fluctuates and within the reaction zone. It is intended to provide a method for separating a homogeneous catalyst from a reaction mixture that avoids hydrodynamic disturbances. This problem is solved by keeping both the volume flow rate of the retentate in the membrane separation unit and the holding force of the membrane separation unit constant by control. The present invention is a method for separating a homogeneous catalyst from a reaction mixture using at least one membrane separation unit, wherein the membrane containing the homogeneous catalyst and arising from the reaction zone is used as a feed liquid. The present invention relates to a method of feeding into a separation unit, wherein the homogeneous catalyst is depleted in the permeate of the membrane separation unit and enriched in the retentate, and the retentate in the membrane separation unit is returned to the reaction zone.
