Furthermore, the present invention provides a lithium ion secondary battery exterior material that is not whitened or deteriorated even when an electrolytic solution adheres to an edge portion generated during exterior material processing. [Solution] At least a protective layer / polyamide resin layer / aluminum foil layer / sealant layer are laminated in this order, and the protective layer comprises 100 parts by mass of acid-modified polyolefin resin, 5 to 1000 parts by weight of polyvinyl alcohol, and 0.1 to 50 crosslinking agents.
