abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a printed wiring board which can form an insulating layer having high adhesion strength with a conductor layer while having low roughness, and also has excellent smear removability. (A) A resin sheet with a support including a support and a resin composition layer bonded to the support is laminated on the inner circuit board so that the resin composition layer is bonded to the inner circuit board. (B) a step of thermosetting the resin composition layer of the resin sheet with a support to form an insulating layer, (C) a step of drilling the insulating layer to form a via hole, and (D) a desmear treatment.
