PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilicity imparting agent that imparts excellent wettability to water and thermoplastic resin without impairing mechanical strength. SOLUTION: A hydrophilicity-imparting agent comprising a graft polymer comprising a hydrophobic polymer block and a hydrophilic polymer block as structural units; the hydrophilic polymer is a polyether or a polyether-containing hydrophilic polymer.
