titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of high-grade gypsum
abstract The present invention provides a method for producing gypsum with significantly less fluorine content and heavy metal content from sulfuric acid waste liquid in a non-ferrous smelting process. Metal aluminum or a metal aluminum-containing material is added to a waste liquid containing hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid and copper and arsenic to dissolve the metal aluminum, and the reaction between the dissolved aluminum and fluorine in the liquid causes fluoroaluminate ions. An aluminum dissolution process for reducing copper and arsenic in the liquid by dissolving metal aluminum, a copper arsenic separation process for solid-liquid separation of the reduced copper and arsenic, and neutralization containing calcium in the separated liquid A gypsum production method characterized by having a gypsum production step in which a gypsum is produced by adding an agent and leaving fluoroaluminate ions in the liquid, preferably a fluorine content of 0.2% by mass or less A gypsum having an arsenic content of 0.1% by mass or less and substantially free of copper is produced.
