titleOfInvention | Jelly preparation, method for producing jelly preparation, and jelly preparation preparation kit |
abstract | A jelly preparation capable of appropriately administering a drug to a patient with dysphagia is provided. A simple suspension drug is encapsulated in a jelly agent containing agar as a jelly base and does not include gelatin, and is used for drug administration to patients with dysphagia. The concentration of the jelly base is 0.9 to 1.1% by weight. Since the simple suspension drug and the jelly base do not greatly differ in the speed of passing through the pharynx, the simple suspension drug is not exposed from the jelly agent while passing through the pharynx.
