titleOfInvention | Bifunctional linear siloxane, step-growth polymer derived therefrom, and preparation method thereof |
abstract | A linear siloxane polymer having low viscosity, accurate molecular weight, and two different polymer ends and an elastomer obtained from the polymer are provided. The preferred viscosity is greater than 5 cSt and less than 20,000 cSt, and the preferred functional groups at the polymer end are one hydrogen (hydrido group) and one vinyl group, each bonded to a silicon atom. The siloxane polymer is produced by living anionic polymerization with silanolate, and the polymer undergoes step growth polymerization at a temperature of less than 150 ° C. in the presence of a catalyst such as a Pt 0 complex to produce an elastomer. Manufacturing method. An elastomer produced by the production method. [Selection figure] None |
