abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove an unpleasant odor by chemically reacting with thiols that cause an unpleasant odor. SOLUTION: A terpene compound having a reactive bondable site capable of reacting with thiols is included and reacted by being heated. The terpene compound is a chain terpene compound, and has a terminal unsaturated double bond that undergoes an additional bond as a reactive bondable site, and an alcoholic hydroxyl group that undergoes a condensation bond. As the terpene compound, one kind or two or more kinds are selected from linalool, geraniol, and nerol. The terpene essential oil is extracted from chromophore as a plant by the steam distillation method, and water is the main component, and the terpene compound is contained in 0.0001 to 4 W%, and carbonate ions coexist.
