abstract A fiber assembly suitable for culturing biological tissues such as cardiomyocytes and microorganisms is provided. A plurality of fibers included in a fiber assembly includes a first styrene resin. The first styrene resin is a rubber-containing styrene resin. The content of the rubber component in the fiber assembly is, for example, 2 to 30% by mass. The plurality of fibers may further include a second styrene resin different from the first styrene resin. It is preferable that a plurality of fibers are arranged along one direction.
