A light emitting chip C emits a laser diode LD by being stacked on a plurality of laser diodes LD, which is an example of a plurality of light emitting elements provided on a substrate 80, and turned on. Or a plurality of setting thyristors S that increase the light emission amount of the laser diode LD, a plurality of lower diodes UD that are provided on the substrate 80 and have the same layer structure as the laser diode LD, and a plurality of lower diodes UD. A plurality of transfer thyristors T that are stacked and sequentially turn on the plurality of setting thermistors S are connected to the substrate 80 by the connection wiring 74 so that the lower diode UD does not operate.
