A method for reducing the number of eosinophils in a human subject. An IL-5R binding molecule comprising (a) a region that specifically binds to IL-5R and (b) an immunoglobulin Fc region is administered to a subject. The IL-5R binding molecule is an antibody, and is a monoclonal antibody, a chimeric antibody, a humanized antibody, or a human antibody. It also reduces the number of basophils. [Selection] Figure 1 |
