Hydrophobic plug wrap |
abstract |
A mechanically stable smoking article that can be used in combination with a filter segment having a flavor capsule. A smoking article includes a tobacco substrate and a filter segment including a filtering material axially aligned in an end-to-end relationship with the tobacco substrate. A hydrophobic plug wrap is placed around the filtration material. The plug wrap is hydrophobic due to the hydrophobic groups chemically bonded to the plug wrap. [Selection] Figure 1 |
