The present invention provides a denitration technique capable of denitrating a gas containing nitrite oxide without using ammonia as a reducing agent. A NOx removal system includes a catalyst cartridge having an oxidation catalyst that promotes oxidation of nitric oxide inside, a NO oxidation device that oxidizes nitrogen monoxide contained in a gas to nitrogen dioxide, and NO. And a NO2 absorption unit 18 that flows in the gas oxidized by the oxidation device 15 and absorbs nitrogen dioxide contained in the exhaust gas into the absorption liquid. [Selection] Figure 1 |
