abstract |
A diagnostic system and method for performing a plurality of different molecular assays on a plurality of samples. The present invention is an automated method for analyzing a plurality of samples, the method comprising: (a) loading the plurality of samples into the diagnostic system within a housing of a self-contained diagnostic system; b) after step (a), performing a first assay on a first sample subset of the plurality of samples; and (c) simultaneously with step (b) on a second sample subset of the plurality of samples.
