abstract | An object and a toner having a metallic luster with high strength and a method for producing the article having a metallic luster are provided. An article, preferably a toner, having a metallic luster in which any one of a polyester resin, a polycarbonate resin, a polyvinyl pyrrolidone resin, a polystyrene resin, a polymethyl methacrylate resin, or a styrene acrylic resin is mixed with a thiophene polymer. Articles, in particular toners, in which the weight of the thiophene polymer is 0.1 to 99.9 when the total weight of the article is 100. A method for producing an article having a metallic luster by mixing any of the resin groups and a thiophene polymer with a solvent to form a solution, and solidifying by removing the solvent.
