abstract |
The present invention provides an industrially preferred method for producing an optically active sulfoxide derivative. A method for producing an optically active sulfoxide derivative represented by the formula (1), comprising the step of converting a sulfide derivative represented by the formula (2) into a metal compound and phenyl having an OH group as a chiral ligand. A method comprising reacting a chiral catalyst, which is a metal-chiral ligand complex containing an imino compound, and an oxidizing agent in the presence of a specific benzoic acid compound. (In the formula, R1 is a C1-C10 alkoxy group, etc .; R2 and R3 are each independently H, etc .; * represents an asymmetric center.) |
