titleOfInvention | AIP knockout growth hormone-producing cell line |
abstract | An AIP knockout pituitary growth hormone (GH) -producing cell line (GH3-FTY cell) in which the function of the AIP gene in a pituitary tumor cell line (GH3 cell line) is knocked out using genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9 system) Co., Ltd.) and its establishment method. The AIP gene of a tumor cell line is knocked out by genome editing to obtain an AIP knockout growth hormone (GH) -producing cell line having an amino acid sequence and function different from those of the wild-type AIP gene. Further, the present invention is also characterized in that the cleaved AIP protein produced by knockout of the AIP gene has an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 (SEQ ID NO: 2) or SEQ ID NO: 3 (SEQ ID NO: 3).
