PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium titanate powder for an electrode of an electricity storage device having Li4Ti5O12 as a main component, which is excellent in an effect of suppressing resistance change before and after long-term storage at a high temperature when applied as an electrode material to the electricity storage device. It is an object to provide a material and a power storage device using the material. A lithium titanate powder containing Li4Ti5O12 as a main component, and having a surface layer containing a lithium sulfonate compound represented by the following general formula (I) on at least a part of the particle surface. A lithium titanate powder for an electrode of an electricity storage device is provided. (In the formula, R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms.) [Selection] None |
