titleOfInvention | Confirmation of novel pathological conditions using viscoelastic analysis in the presence of thrombolytic agents |
abstract | In some embodiments, the present invention provides a method of detecting an abnormal fibrinolytic state in a patient. The method involves subjecting a blood sample from a patient to a viscoelastic analysis in the presence of a known amount of a thrombolytic agent to obtain the patient's coagulation characteristic value, and the patient's coagulation characteristic value and coagulation of a healthy individual. The coagulation characteristic value of the healthy individual is obtained by subjecting a blood sample from the healthy individual to a viscoelastic analysis in the presence of a known amount of a thrombolytic agent. Here, the difference in the coagulation characteristic value of the patient compared to the coagulation characteristic value of a healthy individual is a method of confirming that the patient has abnormal fibrinolysis. In some embodiments, the present invention also provides a container suitable for detecting an abnormal fibrinolytic state in a blood sample using a viscoelastic component, including an interior having a coating comprising a thrombolytic agent. .
