Optionally adjusting the pH of the resulting pulp above pH 9; v. A method for producing a treated pulp, comprising a step of subjecting an alkaline pulp to a bleaching sequence including a step of contacting the pulp with ozone (Z) under alkaline conditions to obtain a treated pulp. The invention also relates to the resulting treated pulp, textile fibers made from the treated pulp, textile products comprising the textile fibers and the use of the treated pulp.
