Antigen-bound gas-filled microvesicles, particularly for use as a vaccine, and an aqueous suspension comprising said microvesicles. The antigen is covalently bound to a component of the microvesicle membrane. The microvesicles of the present invention containing a molar excess of fatty acids in the stabilizing membrane are particularly effective in uptake by antigen presenting cells, particularly dendritic cells. |
