abstract | A container for sealing and shielding radioactive fluid is disclosed. A method of manufacturing such a container is also disclosed. The container is configured to maintain a fluid seal to contain the radioactive fluid when exposed to environmental influences, and the user manually removes the cap from the container body as needed. It is configured to be removable. In some embodiments, the container comprises a container body having an internal chamber and an attached cap. The cap forms a fluid seal with the body by an interference fit between the sealing element and the polished abutment surface. |
