abstract | An electrolytic process for the preparation of metal carboxylate complexes is provided. The present invention relates to an electrolysis method for the preparation of a metal carboxylate complex comprising interposing a semipermeable membrane (18) between electrodes to insulate the electrodes. This film (18) increases the metal ion concentration in the anolyte by preventing the migration of metal ions from the anode to the cathode, leading to a high degree of acceleration and speeding up the formation of the metal carboxylate complex.
