Anti-TNFa antibody showing pH-dependent antigen binding |
abstract |
The present invention relates to anti-TNFα antibodies that are engineered to exhibit pH-sensitive antigen binding. The present invention preferably relates to the anti-TNFa antibody adalimumab (Humira ™) or biologically active variants and fragments thereof, wherein the original adalimumab antibody or variant or fragment thereof is an amino acid sequence within the variable region. It is manipulated by modification. Specifically, the present invention relates to adalimumab or a biologically active variant or fragment thereof, wherein the CDR domain is modified by replacing one or more amino acid residues with a histidine residue. |
